WOMAN’S ACHIEVER AWARDS

Started in 2008-2009 by then president Daksha Patel, is a unique way of celebrating womanhood. The Idea is to recognize and honor distinguished women for their outstanding contribution in varied spectrum of social service. By felicitating these outstanding women, we aim at inspiring other women and creating one world for women where they can equally participate and bring about a positive change in this society.

MAITREIYI

Maitreiyi is the flagship annual event of IWCBA and the biggest fund raiser for our projects. It is a platform for young entrepreneurs and NGOs to market their creative products. Maitreiyi was initiated and founded by the then current President Pallavi Choksi. On 5th October 2009.She coined the name for this mega event Maitreiyi meaning friendship, which is also one of the goals of Inner Wheel. The first fund raiser was held at Rotary Center Juhu with 56 stalls. Ever since all presidents have taken it forward to make it Bigger, Bolder and Better. The funds of Maitreiyi are used for worthy projects in rural and backward areas. Our Fund raiser Maitreiyi in true sense denotes Friendship and Service.

IN TAAL

"INTAAL" is a singing platform for the members of IW District 314. President Suchitra Nayak made the dream of Past President Daksha Patel come true with the help of Co. Chairman PP. Renuu Gupta in the year 2015-16. The aim of “INTAAL" was to recognize talent along with fellowship for all members of Dist.314. IWCBA members gave the whole hearted support by sponsoring and sharing responsibility to make "INTAAL" a huge success. Singers of IW district 314 eagerly wait to be a part of this event every year.
